Item#: NU-540The new LabGard ES NU-540 Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets from NuAire are designed to provide personnel, product and environmental protection while working with low to moderate risk biologicals other than volatile toxic chemicals. The NU-540 (airflow 70% recirculating, 30% exhaust) biosafety cabinet has a few new and improved features including: better ergonomically designed front access with a 10 degree slope, 10” window access opening, prop-up work tray and a flip down control panel; long lasting construction with 16/18 gauge, type 304 stainless steel monolithic shell and a covered back wall insert welded into place creating a double wall construction; and intuitive technology with a new user-friendly control system, called the AeroMax™ that monitors and displays the system’s airflow performance via the PressureFlow™ - digital pressure monitor. In addition, this unit has the nitecare™ night setback mode, which is initiated upon sliding the window closure, the blower will continue to operate at a lower rate to save energy. Lastly, some new optional features include an upgraded base stand design, energy-efficient LED lighting, removable and decorative side panels. Overall, the NU-540 has the simplest of controls ideal for quick user adoption and offers safe construction at a lower price.
