Type 2 water purification systems produce pure water, usually combining Reverse Osmosis (RO) with either deionization (DI) or electrodeionization (EDI). Type 2 pure water systems from MilliporeSigma combine these processes into one, providing consistently-pure water quality and eliminating high costs and extensive maintenance. These pure water systems are ideal for various applications including tissue and cell culture and microbiological media preparation and are capable of feeding into Type 1 Ultrapure water systems.
