LabRepCo proudly announces our latest partnership with E-Z Systems, Inc to improve upon our premium equipment in the animal laboratory industry. E-Z Systems is the industry leader in advanced animal research equipment such as the E-Z Anesthesia machines and Euthanex systems for humane lab animal euthanasia.
E-Z Anesthesia
The E-Z Anesthesia product line was introduced in the early 2000’s and was created with the help and input of veterinarians from Temple University. The system was born from the need of veterinarians recognizing the necessity for a rodent specific inhalant anesthesia machine. With this machine also came the production of an innovative breathing interface for rodents and stainless steel heated surgical beds. In Fall of 2019 E-Z Systems released an industry first Touch Screen Digital Anesthesia system which uses a traditional TEC 3 vaporizer.
Current systems available:
- Digital Touch Screen Anesthesia System which includes (3) digital control warming beds.
- Auto Flow System which features an automatic five output manifold that does not require flowmeters.
- The Classic System which incorporates a manual five output manifold and includes a flowmeter configuration.
- The Single Animal System which offers an economical choice for single animal treatments.
All E-Z Anesthesia systems come standard with the EZ-103A Microflex Breather and the EZ-178 Sure-Seal Mouse/Rat Induction Chamber and include all the necessary hardware components required for anesthesia.
Euthanex Systems
We will also be offering the Euthanex product line from E-Z systems. These systems allow researchers to perform mouse/rat euthanasia in the most humane way possible with their Euthanex Lid CO2 Systems. Their SMARTBOX CO2 equipment takes the guess work out of the process while remaining within AVMA Compliance. The Prodigy and Full Color Touch Screen Chamber Systems are able to calculate both flow rate and times while offering safeguards for user overrides. Easy administrator programming for maximum versatility is also offered.
